Robert V. Berthold, Jr.

Robert V. Berthold, Jr. is a highly successful trial lawyer who practices primarily in the areas of medical malpractice, aviation litigation, products liability, bad faith law, and receivership law.

Mr. Berthold is listed in the Best Lawyers In America, and was recently inducted as a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers. Membership in the American College of Trial Lawyers is limited to no more than 1 percent of the practicing attorneys in the state of West Virginia.

Mr. Berthold completed his undergraduate education at West Virginia University in 1973, where he graduated cum laude. Three years later he also earned his law degree from West Virginia University. Mr. Berthold started practicing law in 1976.

William M. Tiano

William M. Tiano is skilled at winning cases involving the areas of products liability, insurance bad faith law, railroad negligence, medical malpractice, commercial litigation, trucking and serious motor vehicle accidents, and industrial coal mining. Mr. Tiano completed his undergraduate education at Marshall University in 1982. He then earned his law degree at West Virginia University College of Law in 1986. He was admitted to the state bar of West Virginia in 1986.

In addition to time spent in the office, Mr. Tiano is an active member of a number of prestigious legal organizations. He sits on the board of directors of the West Virginia Association for Justice, he is a member of the American Bar Association, and he is a member of both the West Virginia Association for Justice and the American Association for Justice.

Admitted to practice in state and federal courts in West Virginia and Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond, Virginia. Mr. Tiano has given seminars on legal issues to other attorneys for their continuing legal education requirements. He has successfully represented thousands of individuals in West Virginia and in other jurisdictions.

Mr. Tiano has experience representing clients in trucking and serious motor vehicle accidents, industrial and coal mining work related injuries, nursing home, elder abuse and associated medical malpractice and all types of personal injury and wrongful death claims against insurance companies and large corporations.

Tony L. O'Dell

An accomplished trial attorney, Tony L. O' Dell has litigated numerous cases resulting in multi-million dollar recoveries for his clients. His areas of expertise include nursing home negligence, medical malpractice, automobile and trucking accidents, unfair settlement practices by insurance companies, products liability, personal injury, coal mining accidents and industrial accidents.

Mr. O' Dell completed his undergraduate education at Marshall University, earning his bachelor's degree in 1988. While at Marshall, Mr. O' Dell was active in several school organizations, becoming a member of the school's Gamma Beta Phi and Omicron Delta Epsilon Honor Societies. Following his undergraduate education, Mr. O' Dell went on to complete his law degree from West Virginia University College of Law. He graduated in 1991 and was admitted to West Virginia 's state bar the same year.

Like his colleagues, Mr. O' Dell is actively involved in a number of professional organizations. He was recently invited to join the John A. Fields American Inn of Court, which is West Virginia 's first and only American Inn of Court. In addition to that accomplishment, Mr. O' Dell holds a seat on West Virginia State Governor's Judicial Selection Committee and on the West Virginia Association for Justice Board of Governors.
